Maybe you are planning on having a large breakfast for the family on Easter Sunday.
Or, like me, you are planning on eating Easter brunch.
I think most people, however, will be preparing and serving a lunch for the Sunday holiday. Whatever the case may be, if you are completely clueless on what to make, have no fear! I’ve gathered up all of my favorite Easter and springtime recipes so you can easily plan your menu.
I’ve got you covered from breakfast, to brunch, side dishes, mains and dessert. Happy meal planning!
Breakfast/Brunch
Sausage & Egg Breakfast Casserole
This is probably the most stress-free holiday recipe you could make. Just prepare the dish the night before, and pop in the oven on Sunday morning!
Apple & Raspberry Stuffed Biscuits
This sweet biscuit recipe is easy to make and kids will love it. Stuff the biscuits with jam and then bake, instead of jam/jelly getting all over the place when serving!
Spinach Salad with Bacon & Chicken
The Easter brunch I’ll be going to will be serving a few spring salads, so why not serve a delicious one at YOUR Easter brunch? This salad is sure to please just about everybody at the table.
Spring Chicken Salad on Ciabatta
My favorite chicken salad sandwich, fancied up a notch by being served on ciabatta bread.
Roasted Portabello & Chickpea Flatbread
A flatbread recipe fit for a king (or queen). Your vegetarian friends will thank you!
You can’t have a breakfast or brunch without muffins! These are more fall themed, but they are delicious year-round.
Appetizers
The best part of this recipe (other than the incredible taste)? The recipe list is only five ingredients long.
Kid-friendly finger food that ensures they eat their vegetables. They taste just plain-ole good.
You’ve got to have a dip when you have a get-together! This one is spicy, creamy, and best of all? BACON. Need I say more?
Side Dishes
Start off your Easter meal with this hearty soup. Plus, ham is the real star for Easter meals and it is featured here!
Au gratin potatoes are an Easter staple, and these have an extremely cheesy twist: Hasselback style!
Asparagus is the vegetable of the season. Celebrate its existence by smearing cream cheese on it and wrapping it in bacon. That’s the correct way to eat it, right?
Regular potato salad? Nah. You’re more fancy than that. Slather some roasted red potatoes with buffalo sauce and crumble blue cheese.
Speaking of being fancy…your guests will be impressed with this fresh and different pasta salad. It’s not even difficult to make!
I don’t make many bread-type things, but when I do, it’s always delicious.
Main Dishes
Roasted Pork Tenderloin with Bacon Jam
Seeing a theme here? I might have a slight obsession with bacon…
Fire up the grill! Who says that Memorial Day is the official start of grilling season? This grilled chicken is a fiesta in your mouth.
Pimiento Mac and Cheese with Chicken Sausage
A simple main dish if you’re having a small gathering.
Broiled Tilapia with Honey-Tarragon Sauce
You’re probably sick of fish by now, but trust me when I say this main dish is well worth making.
You didn’t expect me to NOT include a casserole, did you? This one is perfect for the springtime holiday.
Skillet Chicken with Peas, Tomatoes and Mushrooms
One pot main dish? Check. Spring flavors? Check. Full bellies? Super check.
Spicy Primavera with Asparagus, Carrot and Prosciutto
For the vegetarian you may have at lunch. Oops, there’s prosciutto in this. My bad.
Dessert
Can’t celebrate Easter without a lemon treat! Lemon + cheesecake = AMAZING.
…and don’t forget the limes. Limes need love too. Lemon, lime and cherry is a pretty wonderful combination.
I love bundt cakes. Everyone will too with this sweet, lovely pear & honey bundt.
My all-time favorite cake recipe. So easy, so delicious, so much whipped cream.
Like ambrosia, but Italian. Great as a dessert OR a side dish.
And there you have it! Happy cooking, and happy Easter!
YUM!
Wow! You have everything covered. And frog eye salad. I made that once but hadn’t though about it for years.
Frog eye salad is a family favorite!
Scrolling through this post made me dangerously hungry.
I know! I wish I could make all of these today.
Looks so yummy!! Happy Easter!!🤗
