Gameday appetizers are a big deal in my house.
We never need an excuse for a snack night, but football season DEMANDS snacks. I love experimenting throughout the fall with a slew of different gridiron goodies.
My husband and I are savory snack kind of people, so you won’t see many sweet snacks here. We also love pizza or meatball based snacks, so these Pizza Stuffed Crescent Rolls were a no-brainer when the football season began a few weeks ago.

Crescent rolls are great to use for snacks and appetizers, and you can stuff them with pretty much anything. If you add mozzarella and pepperoni to a crescent roll, it turns into an incredibly delicious snack.

Rolling Up the Pizza Stuffed Crescent Rolls
This Pizza Stuffed Crescent Rolls recipe is extremely easy to make, but you do need to be a pro at rolling crescent rolls.
There’s a large side and a small tip on each crescent roll. You need to make sure you place the mozzarella cheese on the LARGE side, then layer 2-3 pepperoni on the smaller side closer to the tip.

When it comes to rolling them up, START with the mozzarella side. It’ll roll easily into shape and the pepperoni and cheese will be encapsulated in the crescent roll.
Don’t Skip the Garlic Herb Egg Wash
One of the best parts of this recipe is the garlic herb egg wash that goes on top of the rolls.
You can’t have Pizza Stuffed Crescent Rolls without it!

I just whisked some eggs together, brushed that on top, then sprinkled garlic powder, oregano, basil and parsley on top.
One thing you could also add on top is grated Parmesan cheese. I didn’t have any in my kitchen, but you bet I would’ve added it if I could!
Enjoy!
