Jalapeno Pineapple Boneless Wings

Are you a boneless or bone-in-wing person?

I’m a bone-in gal. I like the drums and the flats equally. I feel like they are far superior to boneless wings.

My husband prefers boneless wings. He doesn’t like anything that has bones in it (PTSD from an incident when he was a kid). I don’t blame him, bones can be a nightmare to eat around if you’re not careful. I was always scared I’d swallow one when I was a kid.

The only reason I prefer bone-in to boneless is because boneless are always breaded. I like un-breaded wings that just have sauce or a spice rub on them.

I did break down this weekend and made boneless wings for my husband and I to snack on while we watched football. These might be my new favorite flavor, too.

Do I still prefer bone-in? You betcha. But these boneless wings were a nice little surprise.

They’re sweet and spicy, crispy and juicy, and tossed in just the right amount of sauce (not too much, not too little). What’s even better: they’re incredibly easy to make.

Way easier to make than bone-in wings, in my opinion, especially since you use the pre-cooked popcorn chicken from the freezer aisle at the grocery store.

Give these a shot for your next football party, or heck, even the Super Bowl!

    1. I prefer bone in, too, for all of the reasons that you stated, but have someone in my family, who also prefers boneless. So these are in my future! Thank you for sharing, and I look forward to giving you feedback about how they worked for us.
