One of my favorite snacks to make during the holidays is sausage balls.
You only need three ingredients: ground breakfast sausage, Bisquick, and cheese.
It’s an incredibly tasty snack and I’ve never met a single person who didn’t like them.
But what if you could make sausage balls BETTER?
I’m here to tell you that is possible. All you need to do: swap one ingredient for stuffing mix.
Ditch the Bisquick, add some cooked stuffing, and you’re in for a treat. These sausage stuffing balls may replace my normal sausage ball recipe from here on out.
Enjoy!
Sausage Stuffing Balls
A simple appetizer recipe with only three ingredients that everyone will love.
Ingredients
Directions
- Make stuffing mix according to package instructions. Meanwhile, put parchment paper on a large baking sheet and preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Let stuffing mix cool and then add it to a bowl with sausage and cheese. Using hands, mix ingredients together until they’re well combined.
- Roll mixture into 1″ balls and place on prepared baking sheet. Recipe should make about 40 balls. Bake for 25 minutes or until cooked through.
I used to make this years ago with the exception of substituting Bisquick for stuffing. Yummy. 😋🌿
