Labor Day is here and I’m, well, laboring.
When I was a kid, my stepdad and I would use the extended weekend to work on projects around the house. Not like I WANTED to do that on a weekend off, but I did anyway.

It’s something that’s stuck with me ever since then. I don’t hardly EVER take the Labor Day weekend off, instead using it to give other employees the weekend off. I think that’s the point of Labor Day, right?
I’ll still enjoy the last cookout of the summer season, though. I cooked up a bunch of ground turkey meat and plan to take cheeseburger salads to work for lunch this week. Along with that, I might indulge in this ultra-comforting pasta salad.

This pasta salad has everything I LOVE in it: chicken, bacon, ranch and tortellini. The ingredients alone are enough to set my tastebuds on fire. Throw in some green onions and cherry tomatoes for some pizzazz and you have yourself a mighty tasty pasta salad.

This could be my favorite pasta salad of the season. I did enjoy the buffalo chicken one I made a while back, but this one was even better.
Enjoy!
